I Am New to Ontario Schools

Students who Have Never Been to School in Ontario and/or Who Are New to Canada and the Credit-Bearing System

We are welcoming students who have never been to school in Ontario and/or who are new to Canada and the credit-bearing system.  You should apply online using the direct link on this page starting on July 21st.  Semester one online applications for Adult High School will be open from July 21st until August 29th or until all available spaces are filled.

Before applying, students who have not gone to school in English will need completed benchmark testing and must have a minimum of CLB 4 in all four skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing).  You must bring your benchmark testing document to your registration appointment.

You may visit  YMCA Larc and make an appointment to get your CLB Levels tested to show eligibility to attend Adult High School.

IMPORTANT:  Application for registration is limited.  It is best to apply early.  Once available spaces have been filled, the Google form will stop accepting applications and a link to the waitlist will be provided.
